Youth Prevention - Abstinence & Behavior Change

The Vision

To see youth recognize the benefits & committ to delaying sexual relations until marriage. The commitment shall result in behavior change that will result in no new infections in the targeted group in 2009.

We Will DoThis By...

• Holding large-scale events as well as rallies & workshops which focus on abstinence decisions made by popular youth idols (pop stars, athletes, etc.)
• Operating a radio station that will allow the development of a forum for the discussion of the complex issues facing youth regarding sex, marriage and sexuality
• Including Positive Health curricula into the teachings of The Village Churches and cooperate with other HIV/AIDS providers in presenting this message to the community
