Reach4life Botswana was birthed out of a necessity. Young people all around the country was becoming infected and are being taken to an early grave. Every Motswana (Batswana) living within Botswana has either been infected or affected by this virus. This virus has become known for taking many precious souls and leaving many hurting and broken.

  • Almost 27% of primary, 13% of Junior Secondary School; 4% of Senior Secondary School, and 4% of Tertiary schools students are not yet aware of AIDS.
  • The early age at which many students initiate sexual activity? 6-10 years of age.
  • The youth are the most affected by HIV/AIDS. In the first quarter of 1996 the estimated number of infected youths accounted for 56% of the reported cases of HIV signs and symptoms (GoB, 1997).
  • About 28,000 children aged 0-15 years were estimated to be living with HIV.

Reach4life has made Abstinence seem cool and encourages young people to SAVE SEX and SEXUAL PASSIONS FOR MARRIAGE.

Four Junior Schools; Tshwaragano, Moeti, Sedie and Tsodilo Junior Secondary Schools in Maun has reach4life Clubs running within the schools. With over 6134 young people reached in schools, the future is as bright for these young people as it can get.
