LBBI opened its first year in January 2002. The first class consisted of twenty students, nine from Botswana and eleven from six additional nations! By the providence of God this fit in with the vision of LBBI, to raise up an international Bible School that would reach Botswana, sub-sahara Africa, and the world.

Now, heading into the fourth year, classes are held Monday - Wednesday evenings. Evening classes allow those with job commitments or other obligations to still attend. In the future, it is our desire to have a Monday - Friday program training pastors and leaders from at least 12 nations in southern Africa.

This is the mobilization phase of our ministry. To maximize the opportunity and to redeem the time, a 7000 square meter multi-purpose training, communication and launch center is in our future plans. This strategically located command facility will serve to help mobilize and coordinate the efforts of Christians not only from Botswana, but the entire central and southern region of Africa.
